New members of the OSGE board
27/03/2024, 17:00Wojciech Wrochna and Bartosz Fijałkowski are the new members of Orlen Synthos Green Energy’s Management Board appointed by Orlen S.A..
Orlen S.A.’s new representatives in the Management Board were appointed on March 26, 2024. They replaced the previous vice presidents – Iwona Waksmundzka-Olejniczak and Jarosław Wróbel, who represented Orlen. OSGE’s Management Board is composed of four members, including CEO Rafał Kasprów and three vice presidents: in addition to those just appointed, Jacek Drózd.
Wojciech Wrochna is a lawyer specialised in European law, particularly competition law, state aid and sectoral regulation, as well as handling investments and transactions in regulated markets. He has experience working in the EU, as well as in governmental institutions. He is a Partner and Head of the Energy, Infrastructure and Environment Practice Group at Kochański&Partners law firm. He has also worked as an advisor to Polish energy companies PGE EJ1 and PSE SA, where he dealt with energy sector regulation, EU law, and state aid issues.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia and completed his doctoral studies in law. He is also a graduate of the Robert Schuman University in Strasbourg (international, European and comparative law) and completed postgraduate studies in European litigation at the International University Institute in Luxembourg.
Bartosz Fijałkowski is a manager, energy expert and business analyst with many years of experience in the implementation and coordination of investment projects crucial for energy security. Since the beginning of his career, he has been involved in the energy and environment sectors. He worked at Gaz-System and Polskie LNG, where he was Director of the Commercial, Strategy and Analysis Office. Bartosz held managerial positions in the private sector – including companies like Trend Energy Solutions and Hermes Energy Group. He was also a member of the supervisory boards of Towarowa Giełda Energii (Polish Power Exchange) and PSE Centrum.
He is a graduate of doctoral studies (economics) at the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN), holds an executive MBA from the University of Gdańsk and a diploma from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) in project management. He is certified in Ten Step project management methodology (PMI standard).
