OSGE at Economic Forum in Karpacz

Nuclear energy, particularly SMRs, was one of the topics at the Economic Forum in Karpacz. OSGE was an active member of these discussions with members of management board in discussion panels and also thanks to our special guest in Karpacz – Jon Ball, vice-president of GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy.
The Economic Forum in Karpacz was attended by Dawid Jackiewicz and Jarosław Dybowski – members of the OSGE Management Board. In addition, Jon Ball – vice-president of GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy – visited Karpacz at the company’s invitation.
They discussed nuclear energy, SMRs and OSGE’s plans in Poland. Among others, they took part in the debates “Energy for a digital world” and “Nuclear energy: the best support for RES?”.
Economic Forum is the largest meeting platform in Central and Eastern Europe, where not only security, perspectives of economic development, contemporary challenges and overcoming crises, but also presents specific solutions and innovative ideas. The XXXI Economic Forum was held on 6-8 September 2022 at the Gołębiewski Hotel in Karpacz. The Forum was visited by a record number of 5050 participants from 59 countries and 450 representatives of Polish and international media. Participants took part in more than 400 debates, presentations and discussions.
