Stawy Monowskie, Włocławek and Ostrołęka – three proceedings for issuing environmental decisions for the BWRX-300 construction projects are already underway. The first cross-border consultations have also been initiated.

The General Director of Environmental Protection has started proceedings to issue the Environmental Decision for the construction of BWRX-300 at Stawy Monowskie site. For OSGE, this is another important step closer to the deployment of a fleet of SMRs in Poland.

OPG and its subsidiary are extending their collaboration with OSGE as they deploy and operate SMRs in Europe. Now OPG will also support OSGE in the area of building nuclear operator competence.

OSGE and Łukasiewicz Research Network will launch the European Excellence Centre for Training and Safety of Nuclear Energy (ECKKEJ). Part of planned training centre will be a full-scale simulator of BWRX-300 reactor.
